This policy explains the limits and responsibilities that keep the service safe for recipients and users.
What Free Domain Mail does
Free Domain Mail is a receive-only email service. It gives you a public temporary inbox and lets you receive mail at a domain you control; it never sends or forwards email on your behalf. The only outgoing mail the service ever sends is account mail — sign-up verification and password resets — and replies from our support team, both sent through Resend.
Public temporary addresses
Addresses on freedomainmail.info and freedomainmail.link are public temporary inboxes. Anyone who knows or guesses the address can read the mail that arrives there. Do not use a public address for anything you would not want a stranger to see, and do not use it to register important accounts. Messages in a public inbox are deleted automatically after 10 minutes.
Custom-domain mail and retention
If you connect a domain you own, mail addressed to it is delivered to your account through a catch-all inbox once you verify ownership with a DNS TXT record and point an MX record at our mail server. Custom-domain mail is kept for 30 days and then deleted. We never store message attachments; only their file name, size and type are recorded.
Domains on your account
Your first custom domain is free to connect. Adding further domains requires activation — either through a paid plan once one is available, or by asking support to activate the domain for your account.
Service availability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. DNS propagation and the systems of senders and other providers are outside our control, and we do not guarantee that any particular message will be delivered or received.
Suspension and changes to these terms
We may suspend or remove an address, domain or account that violates the Acceptable Use Policy or these terms, without a refund of any related fees. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Retention and limits
Free Domain Mail only receives email — it never sends or forwards mail on your behalf. Public temporary addresses are deleted after 10 minutes; custom-domain mail is kept for 30 days. Attachments are never stored, only their name, size and type.
